- Siapkan bahan2nya.
- Haluskan bumbu, bawang2ang, bumbu dapur tanah, kemiri & pala (lihat resep).
- Tumis bumbu halus hingga wangi, masukkan bumbu2 cemplung (daun2an, serai & bumbu2 bubuk) tumis lagi, lalu masukkan ayam, aduk2 (lihat resep).
- (Dr wajan sy pindahkan kepanci) beri air, santan encer & asam kandis. Masak dgn api kecil diaduk sesekali, masak hingga ayam lunak & kuah agak sedikit surut, sajikan dgn ketupat/lontong & pelengkap lainnya (lihat resep).
